The DCS Corp Infoscitex Sector is on the lookout for a skilled Facility Operations Coordinator who is eager to advance into the role of Facility Security Officer (FSO). DCS is recognized as an employee-owned entity that excels in delivering agile technological solutions across various sectors including Defense, Aerospace, Human Factors, and Security.

As part of our dedicated support team, you will collaborate closely with the Senior Management Official (SMO) to ensure the smooth operation of the facility and provide assistance to employees regarding all administrative and facility-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

In the role of Facility Operations Coordinator, you will be expected to:

  • Facilitate general office and facility operations.
  • Engage with diverse external government and industry entities.
  • Procure monthly office supplies through a corporate account.
  • Oversee and maintain a record of office keys and access permissions.
  • Coordinate onboarding for new employees and the offboarding process for departing staff.
  • Manage routine facility responsibilities such as maintenance requests, visitor logs, and standard office procedures.
  • Handle miscellaneous office-related purchases as necessary.

As you develop into the FSO role within your first year, you will:

  • Conduct orientations, briefings, and debriefings for new hires.
  • Maintain security documentation in SIMS, along with other electronic and physical records.
  • Ensure the accreditation of the classified open area.
  • Process SF-86 forms for initial clearances, CV updates, and ongoing evaluations.
  • Administer daily security operations for the cleared facility in accordance with the National Industrial Security Program.
  • Coordinate fingerprinting as required.
  • Assist the ISSM with weekly AIS audits.
  • Support classified contracts to fulfill established security protocols, including processing Common Access Cards and managing visit requests.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to address their security needs.
  • Prepare courier authorization letters as necessary.
  • Conduct and document pre- and post-foreign travel briefings, and manage foreign travel entries in DISS.
  • Access DISS and other governmental accounts daily as needed.
  • Perform self-assessments of all security functions to ensure compliance, reporting findings to senior management and uploading results into NISS.
  • Process incoming and outgoing visit requests as necessary.
  • Schedule and oversee classified meetings.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of security training and awareness programs.
  • Monitor and respond to the Security Call Center daily, including verification of security clearances.
  • Manage Document Control and Transmission processes in line with NISPOM Rule requirements.
  • Coordinate the destruction of materials/media following established Standard Practice Procedures.
  • Provide support and guidance to employees regarding personal issues that may impact their security clearance.
  • Monitor phishing attempts and coordinate appropriate responses.
  • Investigate and report Security Violations in accordance with corporate and DCSA policies.
  • Prepare for periodic reviews by the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA).
  • Some short-term travel may be necessary.

Required Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship is mandatory due to the sensitive nature of the position.
  • A minimum of a High School diploma coupled with at least 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Selected candidates will undergo a U.S. Government background investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information, including an active Secret level clearance with the potential to achieve a Top Secret level clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with NISPOM Rule and Industrial Security Regulations.
  • Knowledge of DCSA procedures.
  • Completion of the FSO Program Management for Possessing Facilities Course through STEPP.
  • Experience with DISS, NISS, and eQIP.
  • COMSEC experience, with completion of required courses within the first year.
  • Understanding of Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Assessment and Authorization processes.
  • Capability to manage project activities and collaborate with project leaders to prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to conduct periodic reporting to communicate project status to stakeholders.
  • A technical background and relevant experience.
