DCS Corp is in search of a dedicated Facility Administrator who is eager to evolve into the role of Facility Security Officer (FSO). This position is vital for ensuring the smooth operation of our facility and supporting our team members.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Facility Administrator, your primary duties will include:

  • Overseeing general office and facility operations.
  • Engaging with various external organizations related to government and industry.
  • Managing monthly procurement of office supplies through corporate channels.
  • Maintaining a comprehensive log of office keys and access permissions.
  • Facilitating the onboarding of new employees and the offboarding of departing staff.
  • Coordinating routine facility tasks such as maintenance requests and visitor logs.
  • Handling miscellaneous office-related purchases as needed.

As you transition into the FSO role within your first year, you will take on additional responsibilities:

  • Conducting orientations and briefings for new hires.
  • Maintaining security documentation in both electronic and physical formats.
  • Ensuring the accreditation of classified areas within the facility.
  • Processing security clearance forms and conducting evaluations.
  • Managing daily security operations in compliance with the National Industrial Security Program.
  • Coordinating necessary fingerprinting processes.
  • Assisting with weekly audits of Automated Information Systems.
  • Supporting classified contracts to fulfill security requirements.
  • Preparing necessary documentation for courier services.
  • Tracking and conducting travel briefings related to foreign travel.
  • Performing self-assessments of security functions to ensure compliance.
  • Managing incoming and outgoing visit requests.
  • Scheduling and overseeing sensitive meetings.
  • Facilitating security training and maintaining training records.
  • Responding to daily inquiries from the Security Call Center.
  • Executing document control processes in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinating the destruction of sensitive materials as per established procedures.
  • Providing support to employees with personal issues that may impact their security clearance.
  • Monitoring and responding to phishing attempts and reporting as necessary.
  • Investigating and reporting security violations in accordance with company policy.
  • Preparing for periodic reviews by the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • U.S. Citizenship is mandatory due to the sensitive nature of the position.
  • A minimum of a High School diploma with at least 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Successful candidates will undergo a government background investigation and must qualify for access to classified information.
  • A positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and a collaborative spirit are essential.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • A strong focus on meeting both internal and external customer needs.
  • Proficient problem-solving abilities.
  • A professional demeanor and self-starter mentality.

Preferred Skills:

While not required, the following skills and experiences are advantageous:

  • Familiarity with NISPOM regulations and industrial security practices.
  • Experience with DCSA procedures.
  • Completion of the FSO Program Management for Possessing Facilities Course.
  • Experience with DISS, NISS, and eQIP systems.
  • Knowledge of COMSEC protocols.
  • Understanding of Risk Management Framework and related processes.
  • Ability to manage projects and collaborate effectively with team leaders.
  • Experience in reporting project statuses to stakeholders.
  • A technical background and relevant experience.
