Job Summary

As a Unit Supply Specialist for the Army National Guard, you will play a critical role in ensuring that your Unit and fellow Soldiers are well supplied and equipped for any mission. This includes receiving, inspecting, invoicing, storing, and delivering supplies. You will be responsible for maintaining automated systems, securing and controlling weapons and ammunition, and scheduling and providing maintenance for weapons.

Key Responsibilities

• Issue and receive small arms, ensuring they are properly secured and controlled in security areas

• Schedule and perform preventive and organizational maintenance on weapons, ensuring they are in good working condition

• Operate unit level computers, managing inventory and tracking supplies

Requirements

• Interest in mathematics, bookkeeping, accounting, business administration, and/or typing

• Ability to keep accurate records and maintain organized systems

• Enjoy physical work and be able to lift and move heavy supplies

Benefits

Bonuses may be available for certain positions. Most non-prior service candidates will earn between $200 and $250 per drill weekend, subject to change.
