Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Business Office Manager to direct the overall administrative activities of our business office, ensuring compliance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern long-term care and assisted living facilities.

Responsibilities

Billing and Collections: Prepare financial and statistical reports, maintain electronic and hard copy billing records, monitor and collect accounts receivables, and reconcile bank statements.

Medicaid Applications: Oversee work with technicians, monitor and track Medicaid pending applications and re-determinations, and assist residents and families.

Collaborative: Direct and coordinate business office functions, communicate effectively with facility staff and department supervisors, and work well with families, residents, peers, and staff.

Resident Trust Oversight: Provide oversight of resident trust accounts per regulations and company policy, provide quarterly accounting of funds managed by the facility, and comply with all state and federal regulations.

Requirements

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.

Education: High school diploma required; associate's degree in business administration preferred.

Experience: At least 1-3 years of experience in nursing home business office functions, with bookkeeping, basic accounting, and bank reconciliation experience preferred.

Skills: Google and Microsoft operating platforms, laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to hospital and nursing facility administrative procedures, Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance processes.
