Key Responsibilities

The Culinary Operations Manager will oversee all aspects of kitchen management, including:

  • Planning, preparing, and serving meals that adhere to nutritional standards.
  • Managing inventory and ensuring compliance with safety and hygiene protocols.
  • Collaborating with the Dietician to develop menus that cater to diverse dietary needs.
  • Conducting quality assurance assessments and surveys.
  • Providing ongoing training to kitchen staff to meet customer requirements.
  • Monitoring cleaning schedules and temperature logs to ensure food safety compliance.
  • Handling staff scheduling, training, and performance management to maintain a professional environment.
  • Facilitating communication with staff and clients to address any concerns and implement action plans.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with proficiency in English.
  • A solid understanding of dietary requirements and at least two years of culinary experience.
  • A minimum of one year in a supervisory role.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to navigate digital systems for documentation and menu creation.
  • A valid Driver's License with a clean driving record and current insurance.
  • A valid Food Handlers Permit in Washington State.
  • A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service with attention to detail.
  • Strong personal and professional boundaries.
