Key Responsibilities
The Culinary Operations Manager will oversee all aspects of kitchen management, including:
- Planning, preparing, and serving meals that adhere to nutritional standards.
- Managing inventory and ensuring compliance with safety and hygiene protocols.
- Collaborating with the Dietician to develop menus that cater to diverse dietary needs.
- Conducting quality assurance assessments and surveys.
- Providing ongoing training to kitchen staff to meet customer requirements.
- Monitoring cleaning schedules and temperature logs to ensure food safety compliance.
- Handling staff scheduling, training, and performance management to maintain a professional environment.
- Facilitating communication with staff and clients to address any concerns and implement action plans.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who possess:
- A high school diploma or equivalent, with proficiency in English.
- A solid understanding of dietary requirements and at least two years of culinary experience.
- A minimum of one year in a supervisory role.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to navigate digital systems for documentation and menu creation.
- A valid Driver's License with a clean driving record and current insurance.
- A valid Food Handlers Permit in Washington State.
- A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service with attention to detail.
- Strong personal and professional boundaries.
