Job Summary

Cedars-Sinai is seeking a skilled Contract Administrator to join our team. As a Contract Administrator, you will be responsible for administering departmental purchase/service contracts, preparing proposals, and analyzing estimates of material, equipment, and/or production costs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contract Administration: Develops and performs the end-to-end management of purchasing contracts, including initiation, renewal, and expiration of contracts within area of responsibility.
  • Contract Fulfillment: Responsible for contract fulfillment based on agreed terms of parties involved, ensuring compliance with system and facility policies, government specifications, and conformance to customer service agreements.
  • Contract Negotiation: Facilitates negotiations within scope vendors' price, terms, and conditions, managing vendor relationships and monitoring vendor performance.
  • Request for Proposal (RFP) Management: Creates RFPs and manages the RFP process.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree in purchasing, business law, economics, business administration, or construction management preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in contract administration.
  • A minimum of two years of demonstrated ability to organize and implement simultaneous projects.
