Job Overview

Los Angeles Center for Ear Nose Throat and Allergy seeks a skilled Credentialing and Contracting Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with key providers and clients to support our organization's goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and negotiate provider contracts to support network needs.
  • Manage the credentialing process for new and existing providers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key providers and clients.
  • Coordinate with contract negotiators to analyze contracting needs and identify areas for new and re-negotiated contracts.
  • Ensure timely administration and implementation of contract terms.
  • Research and resolve complex problems related to hospital or provider inquiries.
  • Maintain and manage letters of intent from prospective providers.
  • Represent the department in internal and external audits.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2-5 years of experience in contract negotiations
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills
  • Advanced knowledge of insurance types
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong relationship building skills
Work Environment

The ideal candidate will be able to sit for long periods, stand for long periods, and use hands and fingers in repetitive motions. Ability to lift, push, pull up to 20 lbs periodically. Travel to clinic locations or sites as needed.
