About the Role

This corporate-level human resources position is responsible for the management and administration of employee benefit plans, including health and welfare, pension, and disability, for 36 US-based locations representing 3,800+ employees. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing strategies and recommendations for cost-efficient health plan design, co-worker contributions, and wellness initiatives. They will also drive compliance requirements for Health Care Reform (HCR) and ensure all notices, plan design options, and other federal and state requirements are updated, communicated, and enforced.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement cost-efficient health plan design and wellness initiatives to improve employee health and productivity.
  2. Drive compliance with Health Care Reform (HCR) requirements and ensure all notices, plan design options, and other federal and state requirements are updated, communicated, and enforced.
  3. Manage relationships with healthcare providers and administer benefits policies, contracts, and other legal documents to ensure service levels meet/exceed contract terms.
  4. Develop and manage benefits communications for health and welfare and wellness plans for corporate and field HR managers.
  5. Manage all processes related to the TPA Service Provider, including enrollments, call center, billing, and COBRA, to ensure compliance and timeliness.
  6. Ensure HRIS Benefits Module systems programming is accurate, including eligibility requirements and contribution levels.
  7. Develop and manage the Amcor wellness and wellbeing program, including annual Life Health Assessment and company challenges.
  8. Manage annual Open Enrollment, including system setup (HRIS and self-service), communication materials, and presenting at employee meetings.
  9. Lead other key healthcare projects for ARP and across other Amcor US business groups.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Human Resource Management.
  • 7+ years of relevant human resource and/or employee benefits management and administration experience.
  • Workday HRIS experience is a definite plus.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organisational and multi-tasking skills required.
  • Ability to run HRIS system reports and analyse data.
  • Strong communication and customer relations skills required.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic desired.
  • Ability to handle very confidential information.
  • Ability to work autonomously.

Salary Range

The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
