Key Responsibilities:

This role is not about conventional sales; it’s about crafting innovative technological solutions to meet distinct customer challenges in partnership with our engineering teams. Daily Activities:

  • Establish yourself as a trusted advisor to Electrical Consultants and End Users across various market segments, influencing the design of advanced electrical distribution systems.
  • Engage in solution sales involving Medium Voltage and Low Voltage Distribution, Motor Control, Power Switching, Digital Power, and Monitoring Services.
  • Provide valuable insights to product lines regarding industry trends and customer needs, ensuring alignment with Schneider Electric's broader business units.
  • Develop an expert understanding of Schneider Electric's software and cloud services, focusing on clients' digital and sustainability objectives.
  • Connect clients with innovative applications and tools to help them achieve their project goals.
  • Consult with C-Level Executives and key engineering staff to promote Schneider Electric's innovations.
  • Collaborate with various teams, including Sales and Business Development, to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Interpret electrical specifications to provide accurate pre-sales support and recommend solutions that meet project requirements.
  • Drive strategic growth at assigned accounts, positioning Schneider Electric favorably in the marketplace.
  • Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools to map out the deal landscape and assist teams from specification to closure.
  • Represent Schneider Electric at local and regional technical groups and industry events.

Candidate Profile:

  • 6+ years of relevant experience in design, application, or sales within Power Distribution.
  • A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred; a Professional Engineering (P.E.) license is advantageous.
  • Proven experience in electrical distribution or energy management.
  • Strong skills in building relationships with C-Suite executives and a command of consultative sales methodologies.
  • Familiarity with low and medium voltage electrical distribution equipment and energy management technologies.
  • A passion for sharing knowledge and improving client outcomes.
  • A strong commitment to customer-first principles and effective interpersonal skills.
  • A collaborative mindset that values diversity in a matrix organization.
  • Self-management skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
