About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Project Architect or Architectural Design Lead to join our integrated design team. As a key member of our team, you will work on education and school-based projects, collaborating with other Architects, Interior Designers, Landscape Architects, Urban Designers, and Urban Planners to advance design and technical excellence, environmental performance, and social justice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary design teams to deliver high-quality design solutions.
  • Develop and explore innovative design ideas and solutions that align with our company values and approach.
  • Produce detailed architectural documentation for all phases of the design process, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations.
  • Generate high-quality design drawings, graphic design work, renderings, and visualizations to support design projects and marketing pursuits.
  • Participate in project pursuits, client presentations, and community engagement activities.
  • Coordinate multiple consultants and engineered systems.
  • Coach and mentor project team staff.
  • Work effectively as both a team member and independently.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in architecture.
  • 10+ years of post-graduate professional experience, including significant experience on K-12 or Higher Education-based projects.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills.
  • Experience in all phases of the design and documentation processes.
  • Construction administration experience is a plus.
  • Flexible to play multiple roles across varied project types.
  • Demonstrated strong concept-based approach to design and enthusiasm for sustainable and innovative design solutions.
  • Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and construction methods.
  • Proficient in Revit, and the Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience with Lumion, Enscape, Grasshopper, Rhino, SketchUp, and GIS is helpful.
  • Architectural registration is a plus.

  • A competitive salary range of $92,000 - $110,000 per year.
