Position Overview:
As a Crisis Intervention Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in providing immediate and ongoing support to individuals experiencing crises. This position requires a strong foundation in psychological principles and human services.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver crisis intervention and management for individuals in distress.
2. Create and implement Stabilization Plans and conduct Case Reviews.
3. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including Psychiatrists and Behavior Analysts.
4. Engage in hotline duties to respond to urgent crisis situations.
5. Participate in professional development through clinical training sessions.
6. Facilitate and contribute to Interdisciplinary planning meetings.
Qualifications:
Applicants must possess a Master's Degree in relevant fields such as Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work. Experience in human services is essential, and familiarity with the developmental disabilities sector is advantageous. A valid California Driver's license is required.
