Job Summary

Fresenius Medical Care North America is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Patient Care Specialist to join our team. As a Patient Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients undergoing dialysis treatment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with their dialysis treatment, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the registered nurse or supervisor.
  • Prepare and administer medications as directed by the physician or nurse.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of dialysis equipment and supplies.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and support.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous patient care experience in a hospital setting or related facility preferred.
  • Must meet Center for Medicaid/Medicare Services (CMS)-approved state and/or national certification requirements within the required state or CMS timeline.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
