Job Summary

We are seeking a Medical Assistant - Patient Care Specialist to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Patient Care
    • Assist with patient exams, procedures, and treatments under the supervision of healthcare providers.
    • Collect and record patient information, including medical history and vital signs.
    • Administer medications and immunizations as prescribed by healthcare providers.
  • Support Healthcare Team
    • Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and preparing medical records.
    • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
    • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
  • Maintain a Safe and Clean Environment
    • Follow infection control protocols to prevent the spread of illness.
    • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including exam rooms and medical equipment.

Requirements

  • Education
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Completion of a medical assisting program or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Certifications
    • Current BLS/CPR certification required.
  • Experience
    • One year of experience in a medical setting preferred.
