YOUR ROLE AS A SOFTWARE ENGINEER

This position offers a balanced work schedule from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

As a Software Engineer, you are integral to our organization. You will play a crucial role in our innovations by identifying, designing, and developing software for a variety of systems, including embedded/real-time and enterprise-level applications. Daily, you will apply your technical expertise in C and C++ to work on multiple ongoing projects, including our Open Intelligent Additive Manufacturing System (Open-IAM) and the ThermaViz imaging pyrometer. Your enthusiasm for learning will enable you to quickly understand these projects and become a vital contributor to their advancement.

While coding, you will maintain a meticulous approach to keeping your code organized and selecting the appropriate tools for each task. You will also benefit from our collaborative environment, sharing ideas with team members who share your innovative and resourceful mindset. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A SOFTWARE ENGINEER

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or electrical engineering
  • Proficiency in C/C++ programming
  • Experience in GUI development
  • Knowledge of multi-threaded software development
  • Experience with client/server software development
  • Extensive understanding of software development, design, and implementation
  • Familiarity with embedded/real-time systems as well as enterprise-level systems
  • Authorization to work in the U.S.
