About the Role

Adecco is seeking a highly skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our team in a full-time capacity. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth movement of goods from origin to destination.

Key Responsibilities
  • Freight Management: Track inbound air and ocean freight to ensure timely delivery to the destination.
  • Inventory Control: Maintain a database and update inbound shipments as necessary.
  • Customer Communication: Communicate effectively with key customers to confirm orders and provide updates as needed.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal and external business partners to ensure smooth freight movement from origin to destination.
  • Vendor Management: Coordinate with vendors, brokers, freight forwarders, and external partners to ensure timely delivery of all shipments.
  • Issue Resolution: Assist internal stakeholders and resolve shipment issues and complaints.
  • Documentation Management: Compile and manage shipment documentation, records, and digital databases.
  • System Updates: Update internal systems as required.
  • Compliance: Maintain Advanced Shipment Notification (ASN) for import files to ensure CBP compliance, ensuring all necessary documents are included, such as invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, entry summaries, and proofs of delivery.
  • Financial Management: Review all bills from customs brokers, truckers, forwarders, and steamship lines.
  • Communication: Identify documents sent by the shipper for ASN, ETA, and warehouse processing.
  • Response Management: Respond via email to shipment status inquiries from production, planning, sales, and warehouse teams.
  • Reporting: Maintain manual reports requested by sales for specific accounts.
  • Import Booking: Assist with the import booking process when needed.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in international ocean and air freight.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Attention to Detail: Attention to detail and the ability to focus for long periods.
Ideal Candidate
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in supply chain and logistics.
  • Communication: Strong communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
  • Multitasking: Ability to multitask, stay organized, and remain detail-oriented.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and Outlook).
  • Enterprise Systems: Experience with SAP, M3, MoveX, GT Nexus, or other enterprise systems preferred.
  • Problem-Solving: Capable of solving business problems with forward-thinking solutions.
  • Business Acumen: Ability to serve the business efficiently and proactively.
  • Continuous Improvement: Experience with implementing world-class best practices and a continuous improvement mindset.
