We are looking for an experienced and driven 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) Operations Supervisor to lead and enhance our logistics operations. The successful candidate will possess a wealth of knowledge in supply chain management and logistics, particularly in the realm of third-party services.
The Operations Supervisor will play a crucial role in streamlining the movement of goods and materials, ensuring operational excellence, and upholding exceptional customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all facets of third-party logistics operations, including storage, transportation, and distribution.
- Formulate and execute strategies aimed at refining supply chain processes and boosting operational productivity.
- Establish, track, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to guarantee objectives are achieved or surpassed.
- Engage with both internal and external partners, including vendors, suppliers, and clients, to facilitate smooth operations.
- Guide and develop a team of logistics professionals, offering mentorship and support as necessary.
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory standards and organizational policies.
- Build and maintain robust relationships with 3PL providers to secure high-quality service and cost efficiency.
- Conduct regular evaluations and audits of both internal operations and external service providers to verify performance standards are upheld.
- Address escalations and resolve logistics-related issues promptly.
- Compile and present periodic reports on logistics performance, expenses, and other pertinent metrics to upper management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Fluency in Korean is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, specifically in 3PL operations.
- Demonstrated success in managing third-party logistics providers and enhancing supply chain processes.
- Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to interpret data effectively.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Proficiency in Spanish is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Capacity to excel in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
- Familiarity with logistics management software and tools.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
