Job Title: Employee Benefits Sales Consultant

Foundation Risk Partners, a leading insurance brokerage and consulting firm, is seeking an experienced Employee Benefits Sales Consultant to join their Corporate Synergies team in the New York City Metro Region.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will be a seasoned sales professional with a proven track record of developing and maintaining a pipeline of new potential clients and sourcing referrals for new business opportunities. As a consultant to clients, you will analyze and develop comprehensive solutions to meet their goals, partnering with Account Management to ensure the success of new business and retention of existing business.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Establish and build strong, integrity-based relationships with C-level managers for companies of 100 employees plus.
  2. Identify new potential clients and develop strategies to convert them to FRP clients.
  3. Continually source referrals for developing additional contacts and new business opportunities.
  4. Attend industry events to source referrals and increase industry knowledge.
  5. Attend training as needed to continue to develop selling/closing skills.
  6. Meet or exceed set annual sales goals.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, or related field.
  • 5+ years of selling B2B solutions to C-suite executives.
  • Knowledge of benefit plans and employee benefit terminology a plus.
  • Ability to cold call to set appointments with potential clients.
  • Ability to source referrals through industry-related events.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Life & Health License.
  • Proficient software skills - Microsoft Office Products, CRM systems.
Compensation:

This role offers a competitive salary range of $75,000-$150,000 USD, with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, vision, and dental coverage, 401(k) with company match, company-paid life insurance, STD, LTD, and a generous PTO policy starting at 18 days per year plus 10 paid holidays & 2 floating holidays.
