Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Communications Specialist to join our team at Strategic Resolution Experts (SRE). As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in supporting a wide range of projects and initiatives related to media relations, stakeholder communications, social media, digital platforms, and marketing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and Implement Communication Strategies: Create standardized communication procedures and templates based on industry best practices to effectively engage with stakeholders.
  • Project Communications Management: Develop and disseminate project communications to keep stakeholders informed of project activities, progress, and outcomes.
  • Communication Training and Feedback: Provide feedback and training to team members on writing style, messaging, and the appropriate media for communicating with stakeholders.
  • Communication Evaluation: Assist in evaluating the effectiveness of organizational communications using various techniques and metrics.
  • Research and Development: Conduct research and develop questionnaires, surveys, and focus group interview items to gather insights and feedback from stakeholders.
  • Project Management: Manage competing priorities through effective task prioritization, deadline setting, and quality assurance to deliver high-quality work products.
  • Integrity and Service Focus: Demonstrate integrity and a service-focused mindset in all interactions with stakeholders, clients, and team members.
  • Flexibility and Resilience: Exhibit flexibility and resilience in responding to changing project requirements, stakeholder needs, and organizational priorities.
  • Continual Learning and Growth: Embody a drive for continual learning and professional growth, staying up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.

Requirements

  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years of experience in a related field, such as public relations, communications, or marketing.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents, and experience with PCs, MS Office, Adobe, Google Mail, Citrix ShareFile, and online meeting platforms.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $60,000 - $125,000/year. SRE offers a comprehensive compensation package, including benefits, to support the well-being and success of our employees.

Work Environment

The primary work location for this position is the Washington D.C. Metro area. Remote work is allowed, but not guaranteed. If you live outside the commutable area, travel expenses are not reimbursed to the primary work location.
