The Role

We are seeking a Senior Account Executive to join our U.S. Energy and Industrials practice. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with clients to develop and execute comprehensive communications strategies that drive business growth and reputation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute media relations strategies to secure top-tier media coverage
  • Manage and oversee large-scale media monitoring operations to provide clients with actionable insights
  • Assist in the development of client messaging and positioning for corporate, product, thought leadership, executive positioning, CSR, and sustainability campaigns
  • Manage multiple projects for top-tier clients
  • Develop materials that articulate and promote client initiatives and programs
  • Generate fresh ideas for programs, events, and media outreach that parallel client objectives
  • Exercise creativity in account strategy and planning
  • Coordinate client events and strategic initiatives
Requirements
  • 3-6 years of public relations experience, preferably in an agency or energy/industrials related PR/communications environment
  • Strong project management experience, with demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and operate independently and as part of a team
  • Superb writing and editing skills across a variety of platforms with a keen eye for detail
  • Media relations expertise and pitching experience, with the ability to establish and grow media relationships
  • Digital & social media savvy with an understanding of how to reach a target audience and drive engagement
  • Exceptional time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects and work with quality and efficiency
  • Professionalism, poise, and confidence in client-facing situations such as meetings, internal executive meetings, and media events
