Job Summary

At Redwood Trust, we are seeking a highly skilled Construction Management Associate to join our team. As a key member of our deal team, you will play a critical role in facilitating the financing needs of our investors to ensure the successful completion of their projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with originators and deal team members to evaluate the feasibility of requested rehabilitation and construction projects
  • Review draw requests, supporting documentation, and inspection reports to verify that corresponding work has been completed
  • Interface with borrowers to compile required information, documentation, and resolve draw-related issues
  • Review sponsor background and operating capabilities
  • Manage transactions and work closely with third-parties involved in diligence to ensure proper draw request procedures are followed
  • Provide exceptional and proactive customer support
  • Perform other related duties or special projects as necessary
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of commercial lending or construction management experience required
  • Some experience in real estate, finance, or a related field highly preferred
  • Superior attention to detail, analytical, administrative, and organizational skills
  • Excellent Word and Excel skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and perform in a fast-paced work environment

A reasonable estimate of the base compensation range for this role is $65K - $70K annually. The actual salary offer will be based on job-related education, geographic location, training, licensure, and certification, and other factors.
