About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President, Modern Analytics Leader to join our team at Known. As a leader in the analytics department, you will be responsible for driving the commercial, cultural, and client success of the team. You will nurture and oversee major client relationships and research programs, providing leadership and mentorship to a diverse team of quantitative researchers.

You will set the strategic direction for the department, inspiring employees, clients, and the industry. You will partner with leaders across the Strategy practice and Known to deliver innovations, insights, and strategies that fuel modern marketing. You will lead a team of Directors, Managers, Consultants, and Analysts, guiding their development and growth, and ensuring the quality of delivery of the team is impactful and differentiated.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of progressively responsible custom quantitative market research and/or consulting experience. You will be an active, hands-on practitioner, still designing and executing quantitative research today, along with leading a team or practice area. You will be a savvy seller with a roster of clients who want to work with you, driven by passion, energy, enthusiasm, initiative, and intellectual curiosity.

You will be responsible for managing a P&L or sub-P&L to hit ambitious commercial goals, and will have experience working with syndicated datasets, such as MRI-Simmons. You will be proficient in statistical packages such as Q, SPSS, SAS, Latent Gold, and will have experience working with AI to improve productivity and/or enhance deliverables.

The successful candidate will be a collaborative and innovative leader, with a strong ability to lead by example, from delivering a C-level briefing to writing a survey, analyzing data, or developing a standout report. You will be a self-starter, with strong communication and organizational skills for a fast-paced environment.
