Role Summary:
The Field Operations Manager will act as a vital support to the Director of Operations, overseeing the Field Operations Department and ensuring effective management of all personnel. This role includes budget preparation and management within the assigned jurisdiction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the activities of the Field Operations Department, ensuring all personnel are well-informed of company policies and procedures.
  • Review and respond to incident reports and other documentation relevant to the department.
  • Maintain awareness of events impacting the area of responsibility, including performance issues and morale.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to field personnel.
  • Assist supervisors in administering disciplinary actions and counseling.
  • Prepare budget recommendations for salaries and equipment, ensuring adherence to the assigned budget.
  • Stay updated on all equipment relevant to the department.
  • Participate in scheduled meetings and assist in training programs as necessary.
  • Ensure adequate staffing levels in accordance with operational needs.
  • Act as a liaison for the Director of Operations during meetings with partner agencies.
  • Recommend policy changes to senior management as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience in mid-level management or EMS.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and managing personnel.
  • In-depth knowledge of ambulance operations.
  • Flexibility in work schedule to meet organizational demands.
  • Preferred: Licensed Paramedic.
