Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician to join our Urgent Care team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working closely with our doctors and nursing staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities- Triage patients and prioritize their care
- Perform catheter placement and venipuncture
- Obtain and report vital signs, prioritize patient treatments, and delegate tasks as needed
- Recognize changes in patient status and report to the doctor
- Utilize imaging modalities, including radiographs and ultrasound
- Administer and monitor patients for anesthetic/sedation procedures, with a preference for dental experience
- 2+ years of clinical experience, with anesthesia experience required
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Knowledge and practical application of basic arithmetic, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Weekend availability required
