Veterinary ICU Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Veterinary ICU Technician to join our team at Ethos Veterinary Health. As a key member of our Critical Care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to our veterinary patients in the ICU.
Responsibilities:
- Collecting samples, placing IV catheters, preparing IV fluids and additives, and obtaining arterial blood gas samples
- Calculating and administering medication, fluid additives, and CRI's
- Obtaining and reporting vitals, monitoring telemetry, and monitoring oxygen-dependent patients
- Placement and maintenance of nasogastric tubes, nasal cannulas, and central venous catheters
- Triage critical patients, recognize changes in patient status, and report to the doctor
- Educate and update owners on patient status and discharge patients from the hospital
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a veterinary hospital setting
- 2 years of ECC experience required
- RVT preferred
