Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Veterinary Technician to join our team at Veterinary Specialty Hospital - Sorrento Valley. As a key member of our hospital team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, working collaboratively with our veterinary specialists, and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care, including anesthesia monitoring, laboratory specimen processing, and radiographic techniques
- Work collaboratively with our veterinary specialists, including neurology, ophthalmology, dermatology, medical/radiation oncology, internal medicine, surgery, and advanced imaging
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, promoting a culture of teamwork and excellence
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development, including continuing education opportunities and mentorship programs
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience working in a progressive veterinary hospital setting
- Comprehensive understanding and experience with anesthetic monitoring
- Proficiency in processing basic laboratory specimens and working knowledge of radiographic techniques
- RVT or VTS preferred
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment and commitment to develop long-term relationships with colleagues, clients, and community
