Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Department Manager to join our team at Floor & Decor Holdings, Inc. As a key member of our sales and customer service team, you will be responsible for training and developing Product Sales Specialists, ensuring that customers receive exceptional customer service and product information, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Training and Development: Provide comprehensive training to Product Sales Specialists to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent customer service and product information.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that customers receive a positive shopping experience by providing exceptional customer service and product information.
  • Sales Growth: Drive sales growth by identifying opportunities to increase sales and implementing strategies to achieve sales targets.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure that inventory levels are maintained at optimal levels to meet customer demand.
  • Merchandising: Ensure that merchandise is displayed in a visually appealing and organized manner to drive sales.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including customers, Product Sales Specialists, and management, to ensure that sales and customer service goals are met.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1 year of customer service/sales experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job.
  • Skills: Excellent communication skills (verbal & written), ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Working Conditions

This position requires frequent exposure to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles. The noise level in the work environment is typically moderate to noisy.

Physical/Sensory Requirements

This position requires the ability to exert pounds of force occasionally, and or 20-30 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry push, pull, or otherwise move objects. The employee is often required to use their hands and fingers, to handle or feel. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
