As an Account Executive on the Emerging Accounts team, you will engage with corporate clients to promote our extensive range of advertising products. From identifying prospects to finalizing agreements, you will have the opportunity to develop a sales territory and drive new business initiatives. Your experience in digital or advertising sales, along with a proven history of exceeding targets, will be vital for success in this dynamic, client-focused position. The Account Executive role is essential to Yelp's ongoing success, and we foresee substantial growth within our Emerging Account segment.

Your Role and Responsibilities

As an Account Executive for Yelp's Emerging Accounts, you will:

  • Oversee a territory of key accounts while identifying new opportunities for Yelp's advertising solutions.
  • Manage the complete sales process from prospecting to deal closure.
  • Play a crucial role in mapping client organizations and building relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Gain a deep understanding of clients' goals and challenges to align them with Yelp's advertising solutions.
  • Work collaboratively with clients to devise a comprehensive strategy utilizing Yelp's products for branding, conversion, local search, and customer engagement.
  • Identify client budgets for in-store sales and digital conversions to support new Yelp campaigns.
  • Collaborate closely with Yelp's Account Management and Client Partner teams to ensure successful program performance and client satisfaction.

Qualifications for Success

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in Midmarket, National, or Enterprise Sales.
  • Proven expertise in new business prospecting and expanding a diverse network within accounts.
  • Familiarity with performance-driven digital advertising products, particularly cost-per-click advertising.
  • A strong track record of surpassing revenue targets and closing deals exceeding $50,000.
  • Exceptional strategic selling abilities and comfort with outreach at the Executive level.
  • Effective time management skills and creative problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite, PowerPoint, Excel, and Salesforce.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset, self-motivated approach, and a passion for driving revenue and client growth.
  • Knowledgeable in online media and performance metrics.
  • Comfortable presenting to mid to large-sized groups via phone, video conference, or in-person.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
  • Residence within the EST or CST time zones of the US.
