eTeam Inc is seeking a highly skilled Sterilization Specialist to join our team. As a Sterilization Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and sterility in our medical facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Under general supervision, responsible for cleaning, decontamination, assembly, packaging and sterilization of surgical instrumentation and reusable supply items.
  • Coordinates and prepares necessary supplies and instruments for emergent and routine surgical cases.
  • Maintains accurate records of sterilization processes and ensures compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operation of medical facilities.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in sterile processing or a related field.
  • Knowledge of maintenance and sterilization of medical supplies and equipment.
  • Knowledge of applicable sanitation and hygiene standards.
  • Knowledge of proper safety practices of steam and gas plasma sterilization.
