Overview

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Central Supply Sterile Processing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Sterile Processing Department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of quality and safety in our instrument processing and logistics operations.

We offer a competitive compensation package, including $/hr. based on previous work experience, evening differential $1.10/hr., night differential $1.25/hr., and weekend differential $1.25/hr. Responsibilities

The CSSP Service Line Specialist is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a designated service line and executing initiatives that support the strategic initiatives of the organization. This includes working closely with leadership, clinical teams, physicians, and other stakeholders to optimize workflows, streamline processes and instrument inventory, implement best practices, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the service line.

You will foster a culture of quality and safety within the sterile processing department, ensuring that all team members demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, autonomy, critical thinking skills, and recognize the importance of their role as a key component to our health system's commitment to our patients and the need for quality work.

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent GED. Preferred: college degree in Surgical Technology, Business Management, Materials/Supply Chain Management, Healthcare Administration, or relevant field of study.

Experience: One year minimum of recent Central Supply, Sterile Processing, and/or Surgical Services experience required. Licensure/Certification: Must have CRCST or CSPDT certification or obtain the credential within 9 months of accepting the position. Preferred candidates will also have achieved the CIS or CSIS credential. Surgical Techs with the CST credential and appropriate combination of experience may be considered.

Other Skills/Knowledge/Abilities: Preferred MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. Preferred Instrument Tracking software experience. Regarded Favorably: Rep/Vendor Sign-In/Out Software.
