Job Opportunity: Construction Site Supervisor

About the Role:

As a Construction Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading site safety initiatives and managing the assigned construction team to ensure the successful completion of projects in line with defined objectives, priorities, and contractual specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a vital member of the Project Team (PT) for assigned projects.
  • Oversee the execution of fabrication, construction, and installation activities.
  • Coordinate the efforts of site safety, technical, and quality inspection personnel.
  • Assess the need for corrective actions to achieve project goals and facilitate their implementation.
  • Manage site interactions between contractors and subcontractors, along with Production Operations, Drilling, and other ongoing projects.
  • Provide regular updates on progress, performance, initiatives, challenges, and issues to the Construction Site Manager or Project Manager.

Tasks and Duties:

  • Supervise electrical and instrumentation activities at the site to ensure adherence to design specifications and company requirements.
  • Verify contractor qualifications to ensure competency in executing the work.
  • Guide and support contractors on Electrical/Instrumentation tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with work processes and permits, while promoting safety, quality, and productivity among the workforce.
  • Collaborate with various functions including PIC, platform maintenance, Construction Coordinator, and Construction Supervisor to ensure seamless work execution and planning.
  • Possess knowledge of Integrated Planning & Scheduling, P&ID & ISO drawings, and Work Management Systems (WMS).
  • Facilitate monthly planning discussions with different workgroups, manage schedule changes, and optimize resources such as logistics and construction support.
  • Lead planning for minor outages to capture all opportunities and ensure readiness across workgroups.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Shutdown Management Systems (SDMS) or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of relevant codes, standards, and regulations in electrical and instrumentation engineering and construction.
  • Knowledge of Offshore Piping and Structure HUC works is advantageous.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Willingness to travel for project assignments.
  • Previous experience as a Construction Site Lead on significant capital projects is essential.
