Zurich Insurance Company Ltd is seeking a seasoned Risk Engineering Regional Manager to lead its Property East team.

This role requires a strong leader with established leadership skills to manage a team of risk engineering specialists.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive risk insight and managing performance across all activities to achieve business objectives and continuously improve performance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading a team of risk engineering specialists to provide risk insight and manage performance.
  • Translating business objectives into clearly defined business cases, costs, or schedules to support achievement of a work area.
  • Implementing initiatives to improve processes, develop policies, and support innovation in the risk engineering field.
  • Analyzing key themes from data around risks and loss to identify how different scenarios may have an impact on the business.
  • Managing key internal and external stakeholder relationships across the organization to ensure effective relationships and progress on all business fronts.
  • Collaborating with underwriting teams.
  • Overseeing resource allocation in a geographic area and ensuring the overall delivery and quality of services to customers and business partners.
  • Conducting opportunity spotting and cross-selling with customers and business partners to contribute to business operating profit.
  • Representing Risk Engineering in the marketplace and positioning its value proposition with key business partners.
  • Expanding regional fee income generation through the quality delivery of customized risk engineering solutions to customers.

Qualifications for this role include:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 6 or more years of experience in Property Risk Management Services.
  • OR High School Diploma or Equivalent and 8 or more years of experience in Property Risk Management Services.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • 8-10 years of experience in risk engineering, including expertise in managing large property exposures, implementing control measures, and utilizing best practice risk improvement methodologies.
  • Knowledge of the risk management, risk transfer, and loss control industry from a risk engineering perspective.
  • People management experience.
  • Agile with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong leadership, team building, and career pathing skills.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, relationship building, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Strong MS Office experience and ability to learn and navigate technology systems.

Compensation for roles at Zurich Insurance Company Ltd varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.

As required by local law, Zurich Insurance Company Ltd provides in good faith a reasonable range of compensation for roles.

Candidates with salary expectations outside of the range are encouraged to apply, and will be considered based on experience, skill, and education.

The starting salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$181,400.00.
