Job Title: Coordinator, GreenLight Fund Detroit

GreenLight Fund Detroit is seeking a highly organized and self-motivated Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in achieving operational excellence and driving social impact in the Detroit community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research on current social issues in Detroit, identifying opportunities for growth and empowerment.
  • Prepare presentations and supporting materials for Selection Advisory Council meetings, including agendas, focus area briefs, and research findings.
  • Maintain internal management, data, and reporting systems, including Salesforce, Apricot, Box, PowerPoint, and Canva.
  • Support planning and execution of annual launch events, showcasing our newest portfolio organization and impact.
  • Conduct research on trends and national context of nonprofits and social innovation.
  • Maintain and contribute to GreenLight Fund Detroit social media and quarterly e-newsletters via Mailchimp.
  • Maintain the GreenLight Fund Detroit website and contribute to blog postings.
  • Conduct prospect research on potential Detroit donors and investors.
  • Maintain GreenLight Detroit's investor database in Salesforce and support grant proposal/report writing.
  • Assist with scheduling and logistics of key meetings and site visits.
  • Perform data entry, including contact and file management in Salesforce.
  • Maintain GreenLight Detroit's diligence database in Apricot and prepare reports on portfolio organizations.
  • Support portfolio organizations as needed.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 1 to 4 years of related experience.
