Axelon Services Corporation is seeking a skilled Cash Management and Trade Operations Analyst for an immediate contract opportunity.

This position requires full onsite presence, five days a week.

Note: Video or face-to-face interviews are mandatory prior to any offers.

We are looking for a Data Entry Officer with expertise in wire transfer processes, as well as knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) investigations.

The Cash Management and Trade Operations Analyst is an entry-level position responsible for supporting various projects and initiatives related to cash management in collaboration with the Transaction Services team. The primary goal is to facilitate multiple complex transaction types from start to finish, including necessary escalations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with other business units to effectively identify and address fraud.
  • Monitor cases of existing accounts exhibiting fraudulent wire activity.
  • Escalate suspicious cases to the investigation unit by providing all pertinent information to prevent client losses.
  • Ensure comprehensive details are provided for accurate reporting.
  • Review extensive fraud detection information from diverse sources that indicate suspect or unusual activity requiring further research and follow-up.
  • Take prompt and appropriate actions on identified suspect customers and accounts.
  • Draft narratives and file Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) in compliance with FinCEN requirements.
  • Manage cases by providing detailed evidence and all supporting documentation.
  • Adhere to all processes, procedures, compliance rules, and regulations, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal conduct and business practices, while transparently managing and reporting control issues.
  • Maintain a high level of productivity and accuracy.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or needed.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 1 to 5 years of experience in reviewing customer transactions and identifying potentially suspicious activities and fraud investigations.
  • Experience in preparing Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) in accordance with regulatory requirements is preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Work experience in a financial institution with specific expertise in Fraud Monitoring is preferred.
  • Exceptional accuracy and strong attention to detail.
  • Good organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong research skills, including experience with online search tools such as KYC and Cognos.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills.
  • Excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to multitask and complete projects on time.
  • Ability to understand and draw conclusions from research conducted.
  • Must be a self-starter, organized, and capable of working independently without supervision.
