Job Summary

The Sales Coordinator will support all sales and marketing efforts with a focus on base solution packages, including Research Foundations, Clinical Research, Health & Safety, Higher Ed, Healthcare, Custom solutions, and future products. This role will conduct market research to locate new contacts within existing subscribing organizations, generate lead lists, drive targeted marketing campaigns to expand base solution sales, and measure the success of the campaigns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Sales Director and team to ideate new marketing campaigns and assist in the sales process to expand existing accounts with new base solution sales.
  • Conduct market research to identify new sets of contacts within existing subscribing organizations to promote new base solutions.
  • Assist the Sales Director in generating new revenue by driving role-specific and very targeted marketing campaigns, end to end, to add new prospects.
  • Upload and monitor new leads to the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Software.
  • Monitor the results of the targeted campaigns, report out results, and offer suggestions to improve the campaign.
  • Outbound communications to open sales orders to drive in payments.
  • Outbound communications to subscribing organizations requesting to cancel to encourage their retention.
  • Outbound communications to subscribing organizations that have cancelled to encourage their return.
  • Participate in website testing activities.
  • Participate in and complete all required training and participate in team meetings and activities.
  • Assist with writing and updating any SOPs regarding sales processes.
  • Manage and oversee shipping and logistics of marketing materials intended to be used at conferences.
  • Order supplies for conference marketing, including managing promotional materials.
  • Assist in travel bookings and logistics for marketing conference attendance.
  • Ability to travel to 3-4 conferences per year, including some overnight travel.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Business, Marketing, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
  • Three plus years of relevant and successful work experience with growing responsibilities managing day-to-day marketing and sales support in an academic setting, a medical association, a membership society, or in the healthcare or research industry.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct market research to propose new marketing campaign ideas and approaches.
  • Ability to create a marketing profile of the ideal prospects for specified content areas.
  • Ability to research and source new lead lists.
  • Ability to manage compilation and analysis of educational surveys and evaluations.
  • Ability to collaborate well with colleagues to ideate marketing campaigns.
  • Ability to manage sales cycle of lead generation to base solution order.
  • Ability to use CRM to manage complete sales cycle.
  • Ability to learn and articulate benefits and features of training courses and products.
  • Knowledge of online education terminology and language.
  • Understanding of marketing, market research, project management, social media platforms, Salesforce, and general marketing principles.
  • Comfortable collaborating with multiple functions and priorities to achieve results.
  • Ability to work with all levels of management and participate effectively on a team.
  • Disciplined, detail-oriented, highly organized, dependable, and able to perform under deadlines and pressure.
  • Solid computer skills (Microsoft SharePoint, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, Salesforce, Campaign Monitor, Teams, RingCentral, and Lightning).
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills.
  • Comfortable working remotely.
  • Experience using Zoom, Teams, and other web-based video conferencing tools.
Work Environment

Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing. Communicating with others to exchange information. Repeating motions may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.

Travel

Occasional travel may be required. Occasional professional travel (e.g., to conferences). Staff in this role are expected to attend about 3-4 conferences a year, each lasting about 2-4 days. Such industry conferences are typically in various locations around the US.

Salary/Exempt Status

$50,000 - $60,000/Non-Exempt
