About the Role

The Sales/Catering Coordinator is a key member of our team at Courtyard Fort Lauderdale, responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests and supporting the smooth operation of our sales and catering functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide attentive and courteous service to all guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including correspondence, meeting minutes, and inventory management.
  • Assist with daily operations, including copying, faxing, and mailing, as well as maintaining a well-stocked office supply.
  • Prepare Banquet Event Orders (BEOS) and assist with catering functions as needed.
  • Support the Business Center and provide assistance to guests as required.
  • Attend meetings and training sessions as required by management.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required, with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a hotel or related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and colleagues.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
