Overview

As a pivotal member of our team, you will oversee the management of solar projects from the initial lead phase through to successful completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate engineering assessments and studies.
  • Manage change order requests efficiently.
  • Collaborate with engineers to address project situations.
  • Work closely with estimating teams on project evaluations.
  • Handle submittals and requests for information.
  • Engage with clients and owners regarding specifications and technical inquiries during the planning phase.
  • Participate actively in project planning stages.
  • Coordinate with clients on project planning and execution.
  • Update regional managers on project statuses.
  • Prepare subcontracts and purchase orders.
  • Monitor job costs and forecast monthly revenue.
  • Oversee quality assurance and quality control processes.
  • Identify and resolve contract disputes with owners.
  • Maintain prime contracts with clients.
  • Establish billing procedures with clients.
  • Implement and uphold job cost control measures, reporting monthly.
  • Review general conditions costs on a monthly basis.
  • Evaluate subcontractor payment applications based on project completion percentages.
  • Authorize payments for materials and subcontractor invoices.
  • Issue change orders to subcontractors as necessary.
  • Initiate and manage monthly progress payments to clients.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in the solar or EPC construction sector, with a solid understanding of construction methodologies, estimating, and management.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Adept at reading and interpreting blueprints, technical documents, and regulations.
  • Skilled in writing reports and business correspondence.
  • Capable of effectively presenting information to various stakeholders.
  • Strong mathematical skills, including the ability to calculate discounts, interest, and percentages.
