Pay and Benefits: Estimated hiring range $64,130 - $78,390 / year, 5% bonus target, full benefits.

Posting Notes: This is a hybrid role that will require you to work in the downtown office/community 1-2 days a week.

Job Summary: This role acts as a key liaison between CareOregon and the network of provider-partners, which encompasses contracted, non-contracted, and prospective providers. The focus is on establishing, nurturing, and enhancing relationships with contracted providers.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provider Development & Education: Build and sustain effective working relationships within the provider network. Communicate a robust understanding of network eligibility and support to ensure a high-quality provider network. Play a crucial role in new provider contract assessments and oversight. Conduct orientations for new providers and train clinic staff on administrative processes.
  • Provider Relations: Foster relationships with providers to improve their experience, enhance access to quality care for members, and support healthcare transformation. Engage with the provider network to identify and address needs, conducting site visits to maintain effective relations.
  • Internal Liaison: Participate in interdepartmental initiatives, providing valuable insights. Facilitate complex provider meetings and collaborate closely with internal departments to resolve issues affecting providers.
  • Contract Initiation: Identify potential providers to enhance the network and support the contracting team in managing provider applications and terminations.
  • Administration: Contribute to the development of relevant policies and procedures, actively participate in department meetings, and mentor new team members.

Experience and/or Education Required: Minimum of 4 years' relevant experience in physical and/or behavioral health, including provider relations and managed care operations.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

  • Strong understanding of managed care and healthcare payment methodologies.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Working Conditions: This position requires travel outside of the workplace at least weekly. The employee's personal vehicle may be used for travel.
