Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Funeral Director/Embalmer to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to funeral planning, preparation, and execution. This includes consulting with client families, coordinating services, and ensuring that all aspects of the process run smoothly. Key Responsibilities

  • Consult with client families to create personalized memorial services that meet their needs and expectations.
  • Coordinate logistics, including transportation, facilities, and equipment rental.
  • Prepare and embalm deceased individuals in accordance with legal requirements and company guidelines.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of necessary paperwork, permits, and documents.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and execute visitations, funerals, and other memorial services.

Requirements

  • Valid state-issued Funeral Director and Embalmer license; reciprocal across states and in good standing.
  • Four-year degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience preferred.
  • Five years' experience as a licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Able to read, write, and speak English fluently. Bilingual is a plus.
