Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Service Coordinator to join our team at First Choice Dental. This role is responsible for providing exceptional patient service, ensuring seamless communication between patients and clinical staff, and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities:
  • Patient Check-In: Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and notify clinical staff of their arrival.
  • Scheduling: Accurately schedule patient appointments via phone or in person, fill the schedule when there are openings or cancellations, and complete appointment verification process.
  • Financial Management: Understand and follow First Choice Dental's financial policy, answer financial questions, establish financial arrangements, and secure signed financial arrangements for recommended treatment.
  • Insurance: Understand insurance coverage, submit pre-determinations, follow up with patients, and process insurance appeals.
  • Continuing Care: Contact patients who are past due for recall appointments, make last-minute calls to fill hygiene schedules, and follow continuing care protocol.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of recent front office/support experience.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple requests efficiently.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Compensation: The estimated salary for this position is $40,000 - $50,000 per year, based on experience and location. We offer a competitive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
