Mammographer Job Description

Riverside Health System is seeking a skilled Mammographer to join our team. As a Mammographer, you will be responsible for performing mammography exams on patients, ensuring high-quality images, and providing excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform mammography exams and procedures in accordance with Riverside Health System policy and procedures.
  • Prepare patients for exams, explain procedures, and respond to patient questions and concerns.
  • Complete patient and equipment screening, technical documentation, and quality control measurements.
  • Ensure equipment functionality, troubleshoot issues, and maintain a safe and organized work environment.
  • Coordinate patient care, assess patient needs, and document actions taken.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of supplies and materials to ensure non-interruption of services.
Requirements:
  • Radiologic Technologist - The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Radiology (R) certification upon hire.
  • Radiologic Technologist - The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Mammography (M) certification within 2 years.
  • CPR/BLS Certification - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Mammography experience.
