Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality, timely designs for xGen hybridization and amplicon custom panels during the pre-sales phase.
- Offer technical product assistance to clients through presentations, conference calls, and email communications.
- Collaborate with various IDT service departments and sales teams to address product inquiries and customer challenges.
- Maintain comprehensive records of all customer interactions within our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
- Assist in design and analysis for collaborative projects and development of NGS applications.
- Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics, Biology, Chemistry, Bioinformatics, or a related discipline.
- Proven expertise in NGS applications with a minimum of three years in the genomics field.
- Experience in designing custom capture panels for target enrichment, with at least one year of relevant experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to diverse audiences.
- Ability to comprehend and convey complex scientific, interpersonal, regulatory, and business matters.
- Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in a relevant scientific field.
- Experience in customer support or a client-facing role.
- In-depth theoretical knowledge and practical experience in NGS library preparation and targeted resequencing workflows.
- Familiarity with NGS bioinformatics algorithms/software, including extensive experience with Python and Galaxy.
