About the role
This position plays a vital part in our team's efforts to provide top-notch care for individuals struggling with substance abuse.
As a Behavioral Health Technician at Mainstream Staffing, you will directly supervise and support clients in their recovery journey. This includes assisting with intake and discharge processes, facilitating group activities, and implementing de-escalation techniques when necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure seamless client services, including Against Medical Advice (AMA) blocking, medication administration, and appointment scheduling.
- Maintain accurate records of client behaviors, whereabouts, and vital signs during scheduled rounds.
- Screen clients' belongings and persons upon admission and log valuable items for tracking purposes.
- Ensure program schedules and directives are followed at all times, including room cleaning, equipment maintenance, and supply management.
We're looking for an individual with a strong background in the substance abuse industry, who can demonstrate empathy and cultural sensitivity. A minimum of one year sober is required, along with a high school diploma or equivalent. Experience working with electronic medical records and maintaining confidentiality in compliance with HIPPA regulations is essential.
Salary Information:
