We are seeking a skilled Purchasing Specialist to join our team at Servco. As a key member of our Used Car Buying Center, you will be responsible for purchasing pre-owned vehicles directly from customers.


Key Responsibilities:
Receive and make calls to schedule appointments for sellers to meet with our Used Car Buying Center Manager or Purchasing Specialist
Source used car sales leads through various online platforms
Appraise vehicles on site and remotely using Inventory Plus software
Obtain approval from the Buying Center Manager to purchase pre-owned vehicles
Communicate purchase prices to customers and inform the Buying Center Manager of their decisions
Assist the Buying Center Manager with obtaining purchase documents and ensuring customer completion
Transport vehicles to our Pre-owned lot

Requirements:
High School graduate or equivalent
Business or Auto Technology degree preferred
Minimum of two years of customer service work experience
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Ability to operate a standard shift vehicle preferred
Auto sales or vehicle appraisal work experience preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong customer relations skills
Knowledge of automotive makes and models
Basic proficiency with Word and Excel
DealerTrack, Dealersocket, Roadster, and/or Inventory Plus experience preferred
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Detail-oriented with strong math/financial skills
Customer savvy, team player, and adaptable
Work schedule: 9:00am - 6:00pm with Tuesday/Sunday off
