Position Overview
This role is pivotal in supporting inpatient and community outreach initiatives in Northern California and the Bay Area, requiring travel for Quality Reviews.

Compensation
The expected starting salary range is $100,838.40 to $148,000, with geographic differentials applied. The starting pay will be commensurate with relevant experience.

Role Summary
The Manager of Clinical Quality Assurance is responsible for actively overseeing and enhancing the organization's quality and risk management frameworks. Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning and conducting onsite quality assessments.
  • Identifying areas for process enhancement.
  • Supporting the execution of improvement program plans.
  • Conducting root cause analyses.
  • Assisting in survey preparation, policy formulation, and incident evaluations.

  4. Financial Security: Successfully operating within budget constraints while driving fiscal responsibility.

Qualifications
Required:
- Master’s degree in a health-related field or equivalent experience.
- Active, unrestricted license in behavioral health.
- Two years of behavioral health experience in quality assurance, performance improvement, or risk management.

Preferred:
- Experience with CARF and Joint Commission accreditation processes.
- Two years in a Quality Manager role within behavioral health.

Essential Functions
The Manager will:

  • Demonstrate the Telecare mission and values in all interactions.
  • Manage and promote quality improvement and risk management processes.
  • Implement standard performance improvement methods.
  • Facilitate continuous survey readiness.
  • Lead quality and risk management initiatives from inception to resolution.

Skills Required
- Proficiency in PDSA and Root Cause Analysis.
- Familiarity with reporting tools such as Avatar and QLIK.
- Competence in Microsoft Office Suite.

Physical Demands
The role may require occasional physical activities such as sitting, bending, and lifting items weighing up to 25 pounds.
