Position: Embedded Systems Quality Assurance Engineer

Location: Onsite

Key Responsibilities:

  • We are seeking professionals with a strong background in testing and validation. Note that this role does not involve design or development tasks.
  • Familiarity with the architecture developed in C for microcontrollers operating in both Non-RTOS and RTOS environments, particularly for safety-critical handheld medical devices, is essential.
  • Comprehension of the graphical user interface (GUI) developed in C++ for microcontroller-based RTOS environments for highly safety-critical handheld medical devices is required.
  • Conduct thorough requirement analysis to identify any discrepancies. Recognize test scenarios and combinations based on input documents such as requirements and design specifications for safety-critical handheld medical devices.
  • Determine the appropriate test hardware needed for comprehensive system testing.
  • Create software integration test plans and protocols aligned with design input documents and code for embedded, battery-operated medical devices, and execute them according to established processes for medical device software development.
  • Perform software code regression analysis (in C & C++) with a solid understanding of custom hardware design to facilitate integration testing.
  • Engage actively in requirement, design, and code review meetings, providing constructive feedback.
  • For candidates with C# expertise: Develop and test PC applications using C# for testing and communication with the embedded medical device. A good grasp of communication protocols such as NFC and BLE is advantageous.
