Alameda, California, United States Saildrone Inc Full time
About Saildrone Inc
At Saildrone, we are dedicated to the sustainable exploration, mapping, and monitoring of the oceans to enhance our understanding and preservation of the environment.

We offer real-time access to essential data from any ocean globally, 24/7/365, utilizing proprietary software to convert that data into actionable insights.

Our fleet of uncrewed surface vehicles (USVs), powered by renewable energy sources, operates with a minimal carbon footprint and does not require a crewed support vessel.

We collaborate with governments, civil agencies, foundations, universities, and private organizations worldwide to improve knowledge about our oceans—from gathering data in the eye of hurricanes to assessing fish populations for sustainable management, and mapping the ocean floor to combat illegal activities.

Our efforts have earned us recognition on TIME's List of the 100 Most Influential Companies and Fast Company's list of the "World's Most Innovative Companies." We are based in Alameda, CA, with additional offices in Washington DC and St. Petersburg, FL.

This is an exciting opportunity within a rapidly growing team at the forefront of big data services and autonomous technology.
