We are looking for an Environmental, Health, and Safety Coordinator to assist our R&D and Operations teams. This position is crucial for ensuring adherence to policies and regulations, facilitating safety training initiatives, and maintaining a safe workplace. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting accident response and investigation efforts
  • Managing safety equipment and inventory
  • Overseeing contractor compliance with safety standards
  • Creating site-specific safety protocols
  • Conducting regular audits and inspections
  • Participating in safety meetings and discussions
  • Managing hazardous waste inspections
  • Maintaining safety documentation and necessary permits

To qualify for this role, candidates should possess a degree in a scientific or EHS-related discipline, along with 3-5 years of relevant safety experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a solid understanding of safety regulations are essential. Candidates must also be capable of lifting 50 lbs, wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), and holding certifications such as RCRA, DOT, and HAZWOPER.
