At TalentBurst, we are seeking a highly skilled Safety Specialist to join our team. As a Safety Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe handling and transportation of dangerous goods.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive dangerous goods document repository.
  • Review and verify DG requirements for individual agile entries.
  • Work with logistics vendors to ensure compliance with documentation, classification, and labeling requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records and paperwork to comply with Amazon and regulatory requirements.
  • Enter information into internal databases in a timely manner.
  • Perform regular audits and observations to identify compliance issues and improvement opportunities.
  • Train and assist team members on safety procedures and protocols.
  • Participate in process improvement activities and manage actions to completion.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (Environmental, Hazmat, Safety).
  • Knowledge of OSHA and DOT regulations.
  • Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel in a professional capacity.
Preferred Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, analysis, judgment, and customer focus skills.
  • Experience analyzing data, gathering data, and reviewing DG requests for potential concerns.
  • Experience in manufacturing and with DOT regulations, RCR, and Hazmat regulations.
