Now Hiring Clinical Services Manager for Private Duty

General Summary: The Clinical Services Manager is accountable for the execution and oversight of administrative protocols while managing the delivery of all services for the designated agencies and registries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Uphold and embody the mission, vision, and values of LifeCare Home Health consistently.
  • Strategically plan, organize, direct, and assess operations to guarantee the provision of sufficient and suitable care and services for the assigned agencies, including oversight for all locations.
  • Authorize a qualified individual in writing to assume responsibilities and functions during absences.
  • Provide expert support and guidance to agency personnel regarding the delivery of home health services, ensuring adherence to quality standards and compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Implement directives from the governing body and ensure adherence to organizational policies and procedures, along with the development and execution of relevant service policies. Ensure accurate and timely documentation of services rendered.
  • Develop and sustain effective administrative policies and management practices, including budget oversight, cost analysis, fee determination, and financial reporting to the Board of Directors. Implement robust budgeting and accounting systems that prioritize patient health and safety while overseeing all fiscal matters of the agency.
  • Negotiate contracts and cultivate strong relationships with payor sources.
  • Recruit, manage, and directly qualify personnel to execute the agency's policies and procedures. Ensure comprehensive staff education and evaluation, including orientation, in-service training, continuing education, and performance assessment.
  • Oversee the supervision and evaluation of patient satisfaction surveys.
  • Direct and monitor organizational performance improvement initiatives.
  • Engage in the review, analysis, and assessment of the overall effectiveness of the Private Duty program. Evaluate service policies and functions, recommending changes or addressing issues affecting the Private Duty line of business.
  • Establish a public relations strategy to ensure the accuracy of informational materials and activities, promoting the Private Duty services and fostering positive relationships with healthcare providers and community organizations.
  • Oversee the preparation of an annual operational report and evaluation of the agency/registry.
  • Implement all utilization review activities and coordinate timely corrective action plans and controls.
  • Ensure the completion, maintenance, and submission of various clinical or financial reports necessary for enhancing operational and clinical performance.
  • Maintain an up-to-date organizational chart reflecting lines of authority to the client level.
  • Ensure the agency/registry office facility is adequately sized for efficient staff operations, well-equipped, and compliant with local ordinances and safety regulations.
  • Oversee the resolution of complaints and conduct periodic reviews of patient records to ensure satisfaction.
  • Provide direct supervision for designated positions and collaborate with the Director of Business Development and Account Executives to promote growth in Private Duty services.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of and ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations governing the operations of the agency/registry.

Requirements:

  • Experience in Home Health Care and Case Management
  • Active RN License in Florida
  • CPR Certification
  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred
