ABOUT THE POSITION:
The Nutritional Services Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the food service program within our Health Center. This position requires a strong focus on delivering high-quality, nutritious meals while ensuring efficient and courteous service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning, scheduling, and supervision of dietary staff within the Health Center.
- Develop menus tailored to the preferences and nutritional needs of residents.
- Provide training and education to dietary personnel in line with the staff education plan.
- Assign work tasks to dietary staff and conduct spot-checks to maintain service standards.
- Ensure compliance with the Nutritional Adequacy Policy for all residents.
- Maintain accurate records and reports as required by regulatory agencies.
- Conduct hands-on intakes and maintain individual diet information.
- Participate in Care Plan Meetings and document food preferences for new admissions.
- Ensure accuracy in daily meal tallies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of two years of supervisory experience in food service within a healthcare environment.
- C.D.M. certification in healthcare is required.
- Knowledge of safety and sanitation standards in food service.
